I just watched an anime movie called "Dead Leaves".

Wow. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. I loved every minute of it. The plot is bonkers, the animation is choppy on purpose, and the non-stop action has to be seen to be believed. It felt like a workout to watch this movie. I highly recommend it for those who like crude sex and violence. This movie puts a smile on my face.

Man, Seth, I'm telling you, watch some of Miyazaki's stuff. Kiki's Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke, for example. Great films.

The comment you made on facebook about it made me laugh, a lot. I'll try to see it.

As for me, the latest movie I've seen is...

French Canadian, a comedy. It did have a bit of a cheesy ending at the end, that you knew would happen, but still, it was really worth it. I saw it at the drive-in too.

I'm a little late seeing this, but at least I finally got around to watching it. I hardly ever watch movies with my family, and I now have even more reason for that. I sat out on the opportunity to watch this movie when it came out on dvd. I'm glad. My family hated this movie. If I recall they didn't even finish it all the way through. Up until now they had it rated 1/5 on Netflix.

What the fuck were they thinking? The first fifteen/twenty minutes of this movie is the most my heart has raced watching movie since I can remember. It's very genre-bending, too. I lol'd at some parts, and other parts made my heart skip a beat; very suspenseful. It could have been trimmed down a bit, though. It dragged just a little through it's two hour run time. Overall I'd say 4/5.

I saw WTWTA, and I hated it. I was so up its own ass...Not to mention there were a gazillion hipsters in the theater bawling at the end.

Pretty damn awesome movie. It is an independent movie shot in Dublin, Ireland. It sort of a love story. Main characters are a street musician who works in his dad's Hoover repair shop and a Czech Immigrant. Really awesome, sweet, feel good kind of movie. Won an academy award for the music.

If you do see it, you might need the subtitles. Their accents are pretty heavy.

I got bored and downloaded Minority Report off the recommendation of my science teacher.

Goddamn that was awesome in so many ways, and for some reason really, really made me want to play Mass Effect 2. Maybe it's because Tom Cruise looked near identical to Commander Shepard.

Observe and Report. Watched it blazed out of my skull, but it was weirdly entertaining.

So, has anyone seen that ridiculous movie Avatar?

Don't really want to contribute money to someone who completely whored out the art of cinema.. but hey, it's in 3D.

"Yes Man"

I actually really, really liked this movie. Well worth the small fee from the store.

I watched Super Size Me yesterday, again. I think it's a really interesting movie, and probably one of the few useful ones. Most documentaries talk about an issue that's way out of a single person's league, but any normal person can get into this movie and wind up having it change their life.

Just saw Avatar, though, I can easily agree that the CGI effects are possible the best I have ever seen, but the story and the writers failed...if te writers took a little more time in, i believe that it could have been executed alot better. overall, i rate a 6.8/10, But the visuals were nothing short of amazing.

300! I love that movie! It's the last movie that I watched even though I've watched a bunch of music videos and stuff on YouTube...but the last actual movie that I watched was 300 and We Were Soldiers because we had two going in the same room so I kinda switched off and on between watching We Were Soldiers on the laptop and 300 on my TV. lol overall that was a good day.

I love Avatar. I also like its storyline.

I just saw Iron Man 2. Contrary to what some critics have said negatively toward the movie, friends and I really enjoyed the film. It was definitely as good as Iron Man 1.
